Community Gardens for Jonathan Residents Only

The birds are singing and the days are getting longer; spring must be coming. It’s time to start planning your garden.

Did you know The Jonathan Association has 48 garden plots available for residents to rent? They are located across from the sliding hill close to a walking path for easy access. They are plowed in the spring before planting and again in the fall after all the plots have been cleaned out. The plots are staked out by the Jonathan maintenance crew. Hoses and water are available for your use. All you need is your seeds and garden tools.

Plots are 20’ x 30’ and rent for $15.00 per plot with a $10.00 cleaning deposit. Deposits are refunded after the garden plot(s) have been cleaned in the fall. If you would like more information or would like to be on the Garden Committee, please call the Karen House at 952-448-4700.
