Cocoa and Coasting a Success

“Cocoa & Coasting is the Jonathan Association’s annual Christmas sledding party. This event, free of charge to both Jonathan residents and to all other Chaska neighbors, is held at the Marsh Halberg Sledding Hill at the intersection of Bavaria and Hundertmark Road. The event is designed to build community among neighbors and celebrate the joys of the holiday season. Sponsoring organizations include The Mustard Seed Garden Center of Chaska and the MOMS Club of Chaska/Victoria. Cocoa & Coasting event coordinators are Maria Awes and Linda Frey.”

This year’s event was a HUGE success and a grand time was had by all – Santa and his reindeer, Buttons, also dropped by for a visit!

Hot beverages supplied by Dan of Elite Espresso and Cookies from the Moms Clubs kept everyone happy between sledding runs. We topped off the event with a prize drawing – Santa handed out all age group prizes from snow painting kits, sleds, snow tubes, to cool snowboards! Thanks to all who helped plan and to everyone who attended – we hope to see you again next year!!
